JAGUAR 990
First-class chop quality, enormous throughput and low fuel consumption - the JAGUAR 990 brings the performance of the 925-hp MAN V12 engine to the field.
With more than 45,000 machines produced since 1973, the JAGUAR is the world's #1 self-propelled forage harvester.
To get here, CLAAS has continuously developed the JAGUAR for you. Today, you can rely on a drive concept that saves up to 10% fuel and works at least 5% more efficiently than the competition. Intelligent crop processing systems that help you produce a basic feed that can produce more milk per day. That's what makes the JAGUAR the world market leader.

The JAGUAR keeps the set speed constant and regulates engine power and driving speed according to the crop.
Dynamic Steering reduces the number of turns of the steering wheel needed to turn the JAGUAR forage harvester at the end of hte field. When travelling straight ahead at up to 6.2 mph (10 km/h), activating Dynamic Steering through CEBIS means the operator now only needs 1¼ turns of the wheel to reach full lock. From 6.2 to 12.4 mph (10 to 20 km/h), the number of steering wheel turns needed is increased dynamically.
The ingredient content is measured by the near-infrared sensor (NIR) serves as an adjustment reference for cutting length and additives.
